A pillowcase is the easiest soft swap. A smooth face lets your hair slide instead of catch, so many people wake up with fewer tangles and less frizz. Real silk also tends to feel cool on a warm night.
Mulberry silk pillowcase, 19 to 22 momme
The usual starting point for real silk. Light enough to stay cool, thick enough to last with gentle care.
Look for
"100% mulberry silk" for both sides. Some listings use silk on the front and polyester or cotton on the back. Read the description, not only the title.
Momme written as a number (19, 22). If the weight is missing, ask the seller.
An OEKO-TEX Standard 100 label with a certificate number that you can check on the OEKO-TEX website.
A hidden zip or an envelope closure, so the pillow does not slip out.
The right size for your pillow. Check the size in centimetres, because names like "standard" and "queen" differ between shops.
Skip it if the listing says silk but costs about the same as a satin one. Real mulberry silk at budget-satin prices is unlikely.
Rough estimate, not checked RM50 to RM150 per piece
